The overwhelming interpretation of the time in Barcelona was through the lens of the artists eye. As an artist I looked at the world as subjects for interpretation and understanding their dark and light patterns, their inspirational reaching to the heavens, their channeling of bright and warm colors or their lack of light at all. I saw Gaudis impact on the city and on myself years later. The portion of the trip to Spain was our furthest reach from our Thailand home. To get there required transiting to Bangkok two airports, Kuwait airport, two airports in Paris and finally in Barcelona. The travel navigations alone took a great expense on my energy. So we enjoyed the art of the city in the Gaudi Parc Guell and Sangrada Familia. The Gothic quarter was also fascinating historically. It reminded me a lot of our experiences in Moroccos Fes medina. Both are almost a millenia old and have narrow paths of travel as opposed to roads. Growing up in the US this was a world away from what I was used to.Gothic Quarter t
