Ruth and Alazar experience their first snow on bikes!
  
         
     
 

We wake up to a wet, snowy morning. The children are looking out of every window wondering what that cold, wet, white stuff is falling out of the sky is like. There are huge flakes which makes it difficult to see.

 
  At first it was just wet, but later it accumulated up to 4" of snow on the ground. It was the first snow the children had ever experienced. Alazar and Ruth just moved here from Africa. There is not much snow in northern Africa.  
        

 
 

 

     
 

I have fenders on the Xtracycle bike and Ruth is game to try riding on the back. So off we go...

  Alazar is just learning to ride his bike. He has training wheels. He has gotten very good with the bicycle.

At times it was REALLY coming down!
