Teaching Experience
Teaching in Thailand was such a rich experience. I had taught art just after high school in the US. Most of my work experience was in software development. When I arrived in Thailand to teach They put me to work in teaching science and then computer science.
While I taught high school computer science I was also able to sign up for teaching an art class. This is one of the assignments I gave my students. I asked them to do several different artworks and combine them in a collage.
I had suggested they work as a group to combine a variety of styles and images. This is one by a single artist. It's fun to see how she worked with the idea.
This student was particularly gifted. She got how the variety and chaos rendered a profound image in and of itself. It gave me a sense of pride as a teacher to work with someone so gifted who took direction from me.
