Yes, I went to Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens again. It's the glorious blossoming of the lotus flowers. The flowers are rhythmic. The flowers have a current like a river. The colors move us to emotion. The contrasts make us think beyond our own being.
This park has a long history of building a developing a place for aquatic plants. It has thrived over the years.
There is richness and boldness in the lotus flower and plant. The plant lifts the huge flower high above the mud that its' roots are bound to.
The DC area has so many amazing parks if you take the time to find them. This is one I've found recently.
